New Zealand Investment Journal
The magazine was established in October 1994 and was printed monthly except January. Since that time the publication has been extensively developed.
It is now published in electronic format ("e-mag") 11 times a year and in hardcopy and e-mag 3 times a year (February, June and December). The printed Journal is 16 pages in full colour A4 format. It has a print run of up to 8,000 and direct distribution to more than 7,000 persons; subscribers and clients of NZIJ Stockbrokers.
In April 1997 the New Zealand Investment Journal introduced, as a first in New Zealand, 100% FREE Entry™ (no entry fee) for most New Zealand and Australian unit trusts, retirement and superannuation funds. This is a service for investors who can make up their own minds on appropriate investment vehicles, and want access to invest with no/minimal entry fees.
The New Zealand Investment Journal is now New Zealand’s leading, “no advice”, financial source for managed funds investment products. New Zealand Investment Journal Limited has held a Sharebroker’s Licence in its own right since 1999.
The New Zealand Investment Journal’s website www.nzij.co.nz is one of the longest running and respected sources of financial information in New Zealand. It was highly commended in the NetGuide finance site 1999 and 2000 awards (
