The stock markets in March.
In New Zealand the best performing stocks were Rakon, NZ Farming Systems, Cavalier, GPG and New Zealand Exchange.
The worst were Nuplex, Infratil, Michael Hill, Tourism Holdings and Tower.
In Australia, the top performing equity sectors for March were information technology, financials ex property and industrials.
The worst sectors were health care, telecommunication services and consumer staples. The best performing stocks in March were Macquarie Communications, FKP Property, Alesco, Asciano and Macquarie Countrywide Trust.
The worst performers were Hastings Diversified Utilities Fund, PaperlinX, Austar United, OZ Minerals and ResMed.
